Wardrobe
Outfits:
Each participant gets 1 outfit. Layers can be helpful in providing outfit options without the need to change.
Colors:
Wear solid colors, avoiding vibrant or neon tones. Patterns, narrow stripes, and logos are best avoided unless specifically requested by your employer. Neutral and pastel colors work well on camera, while earth tones and cool blues are often flattering.
Textures:
Textured clothing (e.g., tweed, knits) adds visual interest without being distracting. However, extremely shiny or reflective fabrics are best avoided.
Accessories:
Keep jewelry and accessories simple. Large, noisy accessories can be distracting on camera, while subtle choices work best.
Posing
Guidance:
Trust that we will pose you during the session, ensuring you look your best with expert direction.
Communicate:
Feel free to communicate any preferences or concerns during the shoot to help us capture your ideal look.
Relax: Focus on staying relaxed and avoiding tension; a natural, at-ease posture results in a more flattering and authentic image.
Experiment:
Take the time to try different angles; experimenting may lead to surprising and flattering results.
Hair & Makeup
Fresh:
Ensure hair is clean and styled neatly. Avoid overly comlicated hairstyles that may distract from the face.
Framing:
Consider styles that frame the face well, such as soft waves or a sleek ponytail, to enhance facial features.
Natural:
Aim for a natural makeup look that enhances features without being overpowering. Use foundation and concealer to even out skin tone.
Bold:
If electing for a bold makeup choice, focus on one feature - either the eyes or the lips - to maintain a balanced and harmonious look.
