Our Founder / CEO

Brent founded BW Productions 2013 because he was passionate about telling stories that matter. For the last decade he has been sculpting stories through a lens and developing longstanding relationships with clients in the nonprofit, education, and business sectors. Brent is passionate about small business, serves on multiple community boards, and advocates for the film and video industry to be more inclusive while training the next generation of creative. When Brent isn't working he enjoys cooking, spending time with his wife and daughter, and traveling the world.

Molly enjoys taking naps, greeting our guests, and making sure everyone is staying on task. She is an avid fan of treats and does not enjoy long walks on the beach.

Alise King

Studio Director

Alise is a multi-talented professional with a background in photography. Her keen eye for detail and artistic vision has allowed her to excel in the world of visual storytelling. Currently, she works as an associate production coordinator. Her unique background grants her an intuitive understanding of the creative process, enabling her to anticipate her clients’ needs and deliver results that consistently exceed expectations.

Bryan Casserly

VP of Production

Bryan is a producer, writer, and actor originally from Houston Texas. Trained at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, he launched his career with roles in I Almost Got Away With It, Steve Jobs, Ted 2, The Newsroom, and festival-winning films Krisha (SXSW 2015) and Thunder Road (SXSW 2017). Beyond acting, he honed his production skills at Ridley Scott’s RSA and Scott Free in Los Angeles. As a producer, Bryan has led over 150 projects for major brands like Pokémon Go, Fox Nation, Rubicon, Venom Energy Drink, Kaiser Permanente, Emeril Lagasse and more. In leisure, he enjoys family time, skiing, writing, and road trips with his mini poodle, Benji.

Lacey is driven by empathy for others both as a storyteller and in daily life. Raised abroad for nine years of her life, she quickly grew to love the beautiful variety of friends she made from around the world. She enjoys life as a twin, pastries, and is a dog lover. She earned her Bachelor’s in Media Arts, emphasizing in documentary film at Brigham Young University, along with minors in Global Women’s Studies and Sociology.

Becca uses photography as a means to capture moments filled with emotions that transcend time. She does this by crafting imagery that speaks to the core of what makes us human through creative storytelling and visuals. When she is not out photographing you will find her out in the mountains with her husband and two kids - hiking or skiing (and probably photographing too).

Business Development Specialist

Noah, a North Carolina native and Film & Media Arts major at the University of Utah, isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Whether it's exploring the outdoors, hitting the dance floor, or crafting the perfect story, Noah thrives in energetic environments. This go-getter attitude translates into his work, where he's known for being a fast learner, a hard worker, and a natural collaborator

Kiernan Dunn

Associate Producer

Kiernan graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Film and Media. She has been involved in storytelling from a young age and frequently engages with local independent projects. Kiernan has a great passion for making all the pieces of a story come to life. Along with interning, she is a personal assistant for a local director/ producer and is eager to expand her knowledge in the industry. Outside of work she is typically on a trail, training in jiu jitsu, or tending to her sourdough.

Syd Lyons

Production Specialist

Syd is a dedicated grip and production specialist who enjoys bringing creative visions to life on set. With a strong desire to learn and grow in any field, they embrace new challenges and continuously hone their skills. Outside of work they enjoy video games and anime, drawing inspiration from the storytelling and visual artistry of these mediums. Syd contributes to a positive and collaborative atmosphere for every project.

Assistant Editor

Ben started creating content in 2015, and his interest in video editing and visual effects stemmed from graphic design. In 2020, through mentorship, he developed a professional level of editing and workflow. He was selected as part of the 2023 BW productions summer intern cohort and worked as an editing apprentice before accepting his full time role.

Zac Doggett

Production Specialist

Zac is currently a student at the University of Utah studying Film and Media Arts. He has lived his whole life watching, enjoying, and learning about the magic of themoving image arts. His journey at BW is helping him launch his way into a career in the industry he loves. In his off-time, Zac enjoys being outdoors and participating in adventure sports.

Assistant Editor

Sydney is a skilled assistant editor with a strong passion for film and a talent for highlighting the unique aspects of everyday stories. She earned her Media Arts degree from BYU, where she developed expertise in post-production, documentary filmmaking, and critical analysis. Her experience ranges from post-supervising, DIT, documentary editing, student teaching, and studying visual anthropology in Northern Ireland. Outside of editing, Sydney enjoys watching international films, reading regency romance novels, and reviewing movies on Letterboxd.

Nicholas Brandao
Video Production Intern

Nick, originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, is a journalism student at Brigham Young University with a passion for visual storytelling and filmmaking. He enjoys outdoor activities, playing sports, and writing.

Samantha Elmer
Video Production Intern

Samantha is completing her degree in Sociocultural Anthropology at Brigham Young University, with minors in Business and Music, and a focus on visual anthropology. Her research and film experience explore the social and political impacts in Northern Ireland. Samantha combines her passion for Photography and Filmmaking with creative, research-driven storytelling to tell authentic human stories. Outside of her academic and creative work, she enjoys soccer, skiing, and road trips.

Jason Arbon
Video Production Intern

Jason has been fascinated with filmmaking since he was young. He has always loved capturing moments in time with film. His goal in video production is to create stories that inspire, open imaginations, and transport people out of everyday life. Jason enjoys playing sports, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his family. You will probably find him filming any of those activities with his 4k smartphone.

Stanislav Kovalev
Producing Intern

Stanislav (Stas) is a producing intern passionate about storytelling. Born in Russia, he brings a unique perspective to his work. While still in college, he served as the 1st Assistant Director on a feature film, gaining hands-on experience in managing productions. Currently, he is completing his BFA in Film and Media Arts at the University of Utah. Outside of filmmaking, he enjoys scuba diving, windsurfing, and exploring international cinema.

Ryan Wood
Photography Intern

Ryan is a passionate and creative photographer dedicated to expanding his knowledge and honing his craft. Currently studying photography at BYU, Ryan approaches each project with enthusiasm and an eye for detail, constantly seeking opportunities to grow both artistically and technically. When not behind the camera, he enjoys experimenting with editing techniques and exploring innovative ways to push the boundaries of creative expression.
